Eiffel's Day

Today was a day solely for the Eiffel Tower. Ericka and I went to the great lawn after lunch to do our yoga and dance poses and then once again after dinner/movie for walking up it and taking shots at night.
It's really hard to appear off the ground when there's nothing to jump off of.
Ericka was all excited to do "dancer" pose. Lookin' good.
We're almost as tall as the tower.
From the Trocadero. It was a lovely, warm day. I think I might have gotten a tad sunburnt even. We got some "glace" and walked around. My citron tasted like frozen lemonade! Yummy
Ericka and I went to the movies to see Josephine, a movie exclusively in French. And I understood maybe half of it. I was pretty proud. We met up with Aaron and headed for the tower, part 2. Stairs! There was no line. Also, going at night was something else. We timed the walk, and even with Aaron bringing up the rear, we walked up to the second floor in less than 15 minutes. There was another ticket booth on the 2nd floor where you could buy a ticket for the lift to the top, but the line looked crazy. We were not going to wait in it.
This is actually from the first floor. I know this because it's still light out.
 The trocadero including 2 carousels.
The lovely Seine in the evening. This was after 10:30 and it was still light out.
We took our yoga shots WAY in the back of the lawn. So amazing how large the tower is.
It's finally dark. We hurried down so that we could see the tower sparkle, which only happen  the first 5 minutes of every hour.
She was giving me some leg.
And I felt a little wrong taking this shot. Doesn't it look like I'm looking up her skirt?!
Breathtaking. I can't believe that people once viewed it as an eyesore. I can't imagine Paris without it, or better, without a visit here.
It actually took us just as long to walk up as it did to walk down. I figure it's because there's people struggling to walk down. We got stuck behind some old people, school groups, etc.

And we got the sparkle!
