Laduree, the place where heaven left sugar. Today we went JUST for dessert and drinks. Aaron got a mille feuille and I got a "religieuse de cerise". OMG what a slice of heaven! Mine was definitely better than Aaron's and I love the presentation.
We also got 2 macaroons, a salted caramel and a strawberry guimauve (marshmallow) which neither were really worth writing about.
All in all, I'd totally get mine again anyplace really. It doesn't have to be Laduree. They are overpriced. The worst part of all was that I ordered a coke (I know, I should've ordered a chocolat chaud) and when we got the bill it was €8!? As much as my pastry! I'll never make that mistake again!
