I met up with Nicole (a friend from AMDA) and her friend Paul who were on their first trip to Paris EVER! We met at Les Deux Magots which was frequented by Hemingway back in his day. The drinks were fabulous (I got kirs) and Nicole was loving her dessert, and Paul claimed that his roast beef sandwich was the best be ever had. #Parisbreadyo! I can tell that it's a prime spot for people watching, and tres cher. I'd go back for sure but never to eat anything as the bill would SOAR!
After my double kir, I biked over with Aaron to the 1st to see Tamy, our friend that we always seem to see all over the world by chance. We had some wine (ok, I had a lot but only because Aaron kept filling my glass) and then biked to a gyoza bar. Yummy gyoza! This place literally had 1 thing on the menu; 1 type of gyoza. The only thing you could specify was if you wanted 8 or 12 of them.Go on chef, watch your gyoza.
After gyoza, we biked to the 5th to get ice cream. Tamy really wanted the BEST kind but the parlor had closed, so we bought from a place that SELLS that type of ice cream, but isn't the parlor (I didn't really care, as I just wanted ice cream and was shitfaced at this point) I got chocolate nougat ice cream and wild strawberry sorbet. Holy batman, it was delicious!
