Paris is gloomy and a little crisp every morning so far, but how can I be mad when this is what I pedal past every morning on the way to school?! The Hotel De Ville. I get a big kick out of making fun of Aaron for always wanting to be on time while riding bikes. I feel like we're little kids going to elementary school. He's totally a teacher's pet. In my class, it's impossible to be the teacher's pet.
After school and walking down the Champs Elysees with Trixie and finding Laduree, we came across the Arc D'Troimphe. Unfortunately, Trix was in no mood to have her photo taken and my arms are too short to do good selfies while holding a dog next to crazy parisian traffic. I'm no Katie Ford. This was the best I could do with only myself. We came home, and Aaron and I went out for a swing dance event which happened to be right next to the Eiffel Tower. The swing dancing itself was very fun, but very different. Some of the leads were doing be bop or something else. Also, the ground we were dancing on was pavement with lots of cracks. I had to be very aggressive and pretty much ask each guy to dance because it's a very close knit community and no one wants to let anyone else in. But I did get a compliment from someone, saying that it was a pleasure to dance with me because I extend my whole arm after a swing out. Yeah! Beaming!
This is what we saw on our walk home!
